Circle skirt

So during my lack of phone days )it ended up in my sisters toilet a couple of weeks back), I decided to make a circle skirt from this blog here: http://birdeemag.com/diy-make-your-own-circle-skirt/
a couple of things went a bit wrong, not sure if it was my calculations but i ended up with lots of excess about 40cm from some where. So I just folded it together and sewed it I’m hoping you can’t tell but you never know. The fold is at the back anyway. I also had to add bits of fabric to the back to hide the zip because I forgot about folding it over but never mind. I will be making another one, with some denim look light blue fabric with navy anchors on. It took me about a day but im not a fast sewer. oh and its not lopsided its just the way the hanger is on the back of my bed room door.
