Jumper skirt

So I was taking the free papers out of Molly Makes magazine to make little envelopes so that I could better transport my tea to my pen pals when I saw a  pattern/ idea for how to transfer a jumper into a skirt so I bought two jumpers which I thought would be suitable from charity shops. One of them was going to be too small so thankfully I had another one which sort of already had a skirt shape at the bottom.

This is basically what the top look liked but I forgot to take a picture before I completed it whoops!

This is what it looks like on I’m really pleased with the result and it was so quick to make less than an hour as I didn’t have to make it into a figure hugging shape. All for less than £10, £3.99 for the jumper, £1 for the elastic and I steady had the thread in stash but without my mistakes a couple of pence.
